Changes and Cancellation Policy

Ascent allows you to make changes to a reservation up to two times.
Any change to a booking made online or through the call center will be recalculated based on the availability and prices at the time the change is made. This may be greater or lesser than the price originally booked. This applies to changes made to:
a. Drop off location
b. Pick up date and time
c. Drop off time and date
d. Vehicle group

As a courtesy to fellow customers, please cancel any unneeded reservation as soon as your plans change. In certain cases, and with certain rates or vehicle groups, a cancellation fee may apply if an unwanted reservation is not canceled at least 48 hours prior to the reserved pick-up time.
Those fees are:

  • If you cancel your booking more than 2 days (48 Hours) prior to your scheduled pick-up time you will not be charged for any cancellation fees.
  • If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of your scheduled pick-up time, you will be charged 50% of your rental fee.
  • If you fail to show up for your reservation without any notice, you will be charged 100% of your rental fee.

Ascent will keep the reservation confirmed for 2 hours after the original time of booking. After that we have the right to release the vehicle that is on hold for the next customer. Cancellation fees will apply.

8-15 Passenger vehicles (Minivan, Full size SUV, Full size SUV XL, 10-15 Passenger Van, Winter Tire Cars) and One way rentals (rentals with drop offs in other cities) cancellation policy:

  • If you cancel your booking more than 15 days prior to your scheduled pick-up time you will not be charged any cancellation fees.
  • If you cancel your booking within 15 days of your scheduled pick-up time, you will be charged 50% of your rental fee.
  • If you fail to show up for your reservation without any notice, you will be charged 100% of your rental fee.

EARLY RETURN
Please note that we are unable to give a refund if you return the vehicle early.
