In this case, you have 3 options:
- Bring back the vehicle with a full tank of gas and provide the receipt of the fuel purchased.
- Pre-purchase the fuel in advance. A lot of our customers prefer this option as it eliminates the stress and hassle of trying to find a gas station and fill the tank at the end of the rental period.
- Bring the vehicle back and let us (Ascent Car Rental) re-fuel for you based on the price as stated on the contract.
At rental time our friendly staff will be more than happy to explain how the LDW works and the other coverage options available to you.

Any change to a booking made online or through the call center will be recalculated based on the availability and prices at the time the change is made. This may be greater or lesser than the price originally booked. This applies to changes made to:
a. Drop off location
b. Pick up date and time
c. Drop off time and date
d. Vehicle group
As a courtesy to fellow customers, please cancel any unneeded reservation as soon as your plans change. In certain cases, and with certain rates or vehicle groups, a cancellation fee may apply if an unwanted reservation is not canceled at least 48 hours prior to the reserved pick-up time.
Those fees are:
- If you cancel your booking more than 2 days (48 Hours) prior to your scheduled pick-up time you will not be charged for any cancellation fees.
- If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of your scheduled pick-up time, you will be charged 50% of your rental fee.
- If you fail to show up for your reservation without any notice, you will be charged 100% of your rental fee.
Ascent will keep the reservation confirmed for 2 hours after the original time of booking. After that we have the right to release the vehicle that is on hold for the next customer. Cancellation fees will apply.
- If you cancel your booking more than 15 days prior to your scheduled pick-up time you will not be charged any cancellation fees.
- If you cancel your booking within 15 days of your scheduled pick-up time, you will be charged 50% of your rental fee.
- If you fail to show up for your reservation without any notice, you will be charged 100% of your rental fee.
EARLY RETURN
Please note that we are unable to give a refund if you return the vehicle early.

may be notified to the police as stolen.
Regarding parking tickets, you can also pay the bill directly or let us know and we include it in your rental agreement.
Credit Cards
A major credit card is a card that is supported by a pre-determined line of credit, and not a bank account, or a pre-paid balance.
American Express®, MasterCard®, and Visa® credit cards are accepted at our non-airport Locations, located within Canada.
